Estepona Fair Attendance Hits High Note, Town's Economy Sings in Profits

With a wink and a nod, Estepona's town hall recently revealed that the annual feria, which just bid its farewell this past weekend, was a resounding crescendo in terms of economic rhythm for the town, all thanks to an all-time high in footfall this year.

The eloquent councillor for Sociocultural matters, Paula Herrera, did a happy jig, announcing the fair's "stupendous success", with a record-breaking turnout of over 400,000 jubilant individuals. She highlighted how the diverse buffet of free concerts, nestled in the town's caseta, lured in thousands, putting the fair on the map as one of the marquee events in the province.

An event that sparked the most fluttering of hearts was the 'Festival for the Elderly', a magnet for over a thousand sprightly senior citizens this year, proving that age is just a number when it comes to embracing culture and merriment.

Herrera lauded the "stellar" efforts put forth by the Local and National Police and the Guardia Civil, and threw in an appreciative shout-out for the Civil Protection teams. Not forgetting the unsung heroes, she also sang praises for the "exceptional handiwork" of the municipal cleaning department. All in all, Estepona's feria was a grand symphony of successful orchestration, reverberating across the region.
